Dwelf cats are a cross breed between American Curl breeds, Sphynx and Munchkins. Each of the mentioned breeds has something unique that distinguishes them from other cat breeds. Dwelf cats, as a result, are a combination of each of these independent traits to achieve in the end a really unique breed of cat. The three traits that distinguish them from other breeds are all independent of each other, causing no harm to the health of these cats.

Dwelf cats are small hairless cats with short legs and curled ears. Even though their body is short, they have heavily muscled legs and neck which gives them a stout appearance. Their feet are oval shaped and large, with prominent knuckles. The back legs are a bit longer than the front legs, and their body ends with a long thin hairless tail, although slight hair on the tail is still acceptable.

The ears of Dwelf cats are curved towards each other in a vertical crimp which makes them stand out more upright, resembling elf ears as some might say. Their head is a bit longer than wider, with gently rounded skull. They also have large, almond shaped eyes, slightly slanted with a very open expression. Their muzzle is strong and short with prominent whisker pads. Wrinkles are most prominent on shoulders and legs.

Even though we say that dwarf cats are hairless, there is still possibility for them to be covered with slight, almost unnoticeable hair. Fine and short hair might still appear on the back, bridge of the nose, feet, tail and edge of ears. Eyebrows and whiskers can be completely absent.

This hybrid cat breed is warm to the touch, and there is no doubt that they have a very unique appearance. These cats are very friendly and very intelligent. Despite of their short legs, they are very mobile. Dwelf cats are social and very interactive cats.
