  • Your opening information box states the origin for the Mekong Bobtail cat is Russia. Then just below info box , the opening paragraph about the Mekong Bobtail cat, states the origin for the cat is Thailand. Can you please correct one or the other – it is very confusing. Thank you.

  • Hello,
The origin of the breed is Thailand. They were called thai bobtail, however in Russia was decided to rename this breed Mekong bobtail (Mekong is a river in the thailand). So the breed is aboriginal, not outcrossed like let say toybobs.
